The Village Board is the legislative and policy-making body of the Village and includes the Village President and six Trustees. If you need to send them a comment or question, contact the Village Board.
There also are a number of other Boards and Commissions within the Village with important responsibilities in decision-making for the wellbeing of the community. Click a Board or Commission from the menu to see its description, members, and meetings.

The Village of River Forest is always looking for volunteers to fill various boards and commissions that help our Village. If you or someone you know might be interested in getting involved, please complete an application to serve on a Board or Commission. All applications will remain confidential unless an applicant is appointed to a Board or Commission.
A message from Village President Cathy Adduci:
As Village President, I want to tap into the great wealth of talented people who live in River Forest to serve on a Village Board or Commission. Your insights, experience and expertise can help us govern River Forest more effectively and efficiently. We need you and want you to volunteer to serve on the Village's Boards and Commissions. Appointments will be purely merit-based; you don't need to know me or anybody else on the Village Board to be appointed.
So please complete an application to serve on a Board or Commission. Tell us why and what you can bring to it. And be sure to include your contact information so I can reach you to learn more about you and your interests in serving our community.
