Project Description
The River Forest Public Library has filed an application with the Village of River Forest for a Planned Development permit for the purpose of installing an HVAC unit on the north exterior of the Library building that will be enclosed by a masonry wall on a property that is owned by the River Forest Park District.

- Development Review Board Pre-Filing Meeting - June 3, 2021
- Neighbor Meeting - A neighbor meeting was held on April 28, 2021

- Village Technical Review Committee Meeting - A technical review meeting was held on September 29, 2021.
- Development Review Board Public Hearing - A public hearing will be held Thursday, October 21, 2021. At the conclusion of the hearing, the DRB recommended that the Village Board grant conditional approval of the planned development permit.
- Village Board of Trustees Final Consideration - The planned development permit was approved by the Village Board at its November 22, 2021 Meeting. The library has until February 2023 to commence work on the project and until August 2024 to complete the work.
