On Monday, October 1st, the Village’s 2018 Street Patching Program will begin. The work will consist of repairing failing asphalt at designated locations throughout the Village. The existing asphalt will be removed to a depth of approximately two inches and replaced with new asphalt. Pavement removal will begin on Monday, October 1st, and will likely take two to three days to complete. Pavement replacement will begin on Tuesday, October 2nd, and will proceed as quickly as possible based on the removal operation. It is anticipated that this work will be completed by the end of the week. Roadways will not be impacted in any way, other than the two inch bump left in place before the patch is filled with new asphalt. Please use caution when driving through these areas, especially when workers are present.
