On April 22, Earth Day, West Cook County Solid Waste Agency Chairman Michael J. Garvey presented the 2019 GreenQuality Achievement Award to Village President Catherine Adduci and the Village of River Forest. Village Administrator Eric Palm and the Sustainability Commission accepted the award on her behalf. This award was presented to the Village for its dedication to recycling with the Annual Recycling Extravaganza event and for its commitment to offering sustainable services and programs to residents.
