Are the savings from the Homeowner and Senior Citizen Exemptions going up?
Yes. The eligibility for the Senior Freeze is also expanding. These changes will save taxpayers money.
How can I check to see what exemptions I previously received?
Using the Treasurer's Office website, you can search by Property Index Number (PIN).
If I receive a Certificate of Error for an exemption for a previous year, do I have to apply for a refund?
No. The Treasurer's Office will automatically send you a check once the Assessor's Office approves the Certificate of Error.
