Public Notice is hereby given that Gregory & Heather Ignoffo, owners of the property at 307 Franklin Avenue, have submitted an application for a minor variation in accordance with Section 10-5-4-B-5 of the Zoning Code. Section 10-5-4-B-5 can allow an increase in the maximum building height of up to five (5%) percent above the limitation of the applicable regulation through the Minor Variation procedure.

A new detached garage for the subject property is proposed to be constructed with a height at the ridge of 18’-10.8” above the elevation of the nearest Public Walk. Section 10-9-6 of the Zoning Code limits the height of an accessory building to 18’-0” above the elevation of the Public Walk. The proposed height of the garage will exceed the allowable height by 10.8 inches, or 5.0% of the maximum height. This is the only variation which is being requested for 307 Franklin Avenue.

This Public Notice invites written comment regarding the merits or potential impact of the requested Minor Variation. The application is available for review above as well as at the Village Hall (400 Park Avenue). All written comments are to be received by Clifford Radatz, Building Official, within fifteen days of the date of this notice or by 4:30 PM on Thursday, October 30, 2025. Minor variations do not require public hearings by the Zoning Board of Appeals.
