The Village is aware of the incident that took place at Jewel today. Currently, we are gathering all the facts, reviewing the video, interviewing the parties involved and any witnesses and store officials.
We understand that this an unfortunate incident that took place in our community when we are all struggling to come to grips with the senseless death of George Floyd and at a time when we are trying to de-escalate tensions.
We will not tolerate hate in our community.
