At the June 8, 2020 Village Board of Trustees meeting, Village President Cathy Adduci signed a Proclamation Designating June as LGBTQ+ Pride Month in the Village of River Forest. The Village proudly supports the rights of every citizen to experience equality and freedom from discrimination, and encourages residents to reflect on the ongoing struggle for equality members of the LGBTQ+ community face and celebrate the contributions that enhance our Village .
