Cook County Board of Review Commissioner Dan Patlak will be holding a property tax appeal webinar for taxpayers seeking to appeal their 2020 property tax assessments. River Forest Township is open for appeal at the Board of Review July 30 through August 28, 2020.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the traditional outreach seminars this year will be held online for the safety and convenience of the public and the Board of Review staff.

The seminar is co-sponsored by River Forest Township Assessor Pamela Kende, River Forest Village President Catherine Adduci, and Cook County Commissioner Peter Silvestri. The hour-long session will educate taxpayers on the appeal process and how to file a successful assessment appeal.

During the online event, taxpayers will have an opportunity to address their specific questions and concerns via a chat room where analysts will be available to assist.

This event is free to the public, and there is no fee to appeal at the Board of Review.

The webinar is offered on the following date at two different times: Thursday, August 20, 2020 - 11AM & 6PM
