River Forest resident Mary Roberts is organizing a donation of meals to the staff at Rush Oak Park Hospital. The meals will be delivered this coming weekend (Sat, Jan 2 or Sun, Jan 3 depending on hospital preference).
The individually packaged meals will be prepared and delivered by Scudieros. They will include a full size sub, chips, pickle, cookie and a bottle of water. Each meal is $10 and if enough money can be raised, it will buy 120 meals to feed the entire staff including many who are often overlooked such as radiologists, lab techs, etc. PayPal is being used to collect donations.
If you feel so moved please donate $10 or more to feed our local healthcare workers on the frontlines of the pandemic. If you or your children would like to include a thank you note, please drop it off at 7970 Oak Avenue in the mail slot on the front porch.
