Dear River Forest Residents,
George Floyd’s life has value. The verdict in the Chauvin case was just read, with the jury finding Derek Chauvin guilty on all counts. We also know that there is much more to do in our Village regarding our journey toward social and equitable justice. Police brutality and the failure of other officers to intervene cannot be tolerated.
As leaders of this community, we value the life of every person and consider life to be the highest value. Let us all work together for a better community.
