UPDATED: 9:15PM 1/29/18

At approximately 3:10 pm on 1/29/18, an officer was waived over by a resident who reported that an older model red or maroon Ford Crown Victoria pulled up and blocked her driveway while she was parked in her car. The car was occupied by two subjects, with one of the individuals being a black male. The actions of the individuals were consistent with some of the methods that carjackers use. The older model Ford was last seen in the area of Clinton and Augusta. Please call 911 if you observe this suspicious vehicle or any other suspicious vehicles or persons.

During subsequent interviews, the victim recalled that the suspicious vehicle blocked the exit to their driveway as a passenger of the suspicious vehicle exited and began running towards the victims vehicle. The victim reported sounding their vehicles horn and reversing the vehicle towards the second exit of the “U” driveway at the residence. The offender then returned to the vehicle and fled the scene. The victim found a police officer nearby and notified them of the situation.
