The Village President and Board of Trustees honored Monica Affleck during their Board meeting on Monday, February 12, 2018. A proclamation was passed declaring February 12, 2018, Mrs. Affleck’s 100th birthday, as Monica Affleck day in the Village of River Forest. Mrs. Affleck has been a celebrated resident of River Forest since 1971.
Prior to the Village Board meeting, Village President Cathy Adduci joined McDonald’s in celebrating the occasion. As expressed in the proclamation, Mrs. Affleck frequently enjoys ice cream cones at McDonald’s. To read the proclamation in its entirety, please click here.
