At approximately 8:30 PM on February 16, 2018, the River Forest Police Department was called to the intersection of Lake Street and Lathrop Avenue for a carjacking attempt. Upon further investigation which included speaking with witnesses on scene and parties involved, it was determined that the event was not an attempted carjacking but a domestic related event with all parties known to each other.
