River Forest Police Respond to Residential Burglary

At approximately 6 PM on March 22, 2018, River Forest Police responded to a call of a suspicious person pulling on car door handles near the intersection of Lake and Clinton. While investigating the area, River Forest Police were notified by a nearby resident on the 7300 Block of Lake that their property had been burglarized. River Forest Police were able to detain the subject shortly after and charge him for residential burglary.   

The River Forest Police Department wants to remind you to:

- Lock the doors and windows to your home and vehicles

- Utilize your alarm and camera systems

- Keep valuables out of sight from windows and doors

- Record serial numbers for electronics and photograph jewelry/valuables

- Report suspicious activity to River Forest Police via 911 or 708-366-7125
