No Parking on Hawthorne between Thatcher and Forest - Monday, July 19

July, 15, 2021

On Monday, July 19th, the contractor working on the Village’s Street Improvement Project will be milling the asphalt on Hawthorne Avenue, between Thatcher and Forest. During this time all vehicles will need to be removed from the roadway. Though parking is not permitted, the roadway will remain open to traffic during this time. The contractor will be installing No Parking signage on Friday in advance of Monday’s work. Additional commuter parking areas can be found on the Village website here. This work is planned for one day, after which parking can resume. Parking will be restricted a second time when the first layer of asphalt is installed and a third time when the final layer of asphalt is installed. This schedule is dependent upon cooperative weather. Additional project details can be found by clicking on the project link (Street Improvement Project) at www.vrf.us/construction.
