The Traffic and Safety Commission will review the Northeast traffic study at its July 26 meeting at 7:30 p.m. The study covers the section of town north of Greenfield and east of Lathrop.
The Village has received the northeast neighborhood traffic study from engineering firm Kenig, Lindgren, O'Hara, Aboona, Inc. (KLOA). The study reviews traffic patterns in the Village from Greenfield to North Avenue, and from Lathrop Avenue to Harlem Avenue. The report includes data regarding speeds, traffic counts and makes recommendations on traffic calming measures. The report is available as part of the Traffic and Safety Commission Packet.
The Commission will discuss the findings and recommendations at the July 26 meeting. There will also be discusion about a Village-wide traffic study. The Public is invited to share comments at the meeting regarding the study.
